F-35A Training equipment delivered

One of the world’s largest aircraft has landed at RAAF Base Williamtown today carrying the first delivery of Australia’s state of the art training equipment for the Joint Strike Fighter.
Minister for Defence, Senator the Hon Marise Payne said the Antonov An-124 touched down this afternoon after a two day journey from the United Kingdom carrying equipment for the Australian F-35A Integrated Training Centre.

Australia and France strengthen defence relationship

Minister for Defence, Senator the Hon Marise Payne and French Assistant Minister for Defense Mrs Genevieve Darrieussecq today signed a Mutual Logistics Support Agreement (MLSA) between the nations.
The MLSA will improve the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and French Armed Forces combined operations by enabling mutual access to logistics services, resources and logistics training.

Boost for the Australian-France defence industry relationship

Australia‑France defence industry ties will be further enhanced after Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and President Emmanuel Macron of France today announced the establishment of an annual Australia-France Defence Industry Symposium.
Minister for Defence Industry, the Hon Christopher Pyne MP will co-chair the symposium with his French counterpart, Minister Florence Parly, and said he was looking forward with working with Minister Parly to progress this important initiative.
