Australian Defence Force commemorates Remembrance Day

Australian Defence Force personnel at home and abroad will pause on the 99th anniversary of the Armistice today, in memory of all those who have died in all wars.

Chief of the Defence Force, Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin attended the Remembrance Day National Ceremony at the Australian War Memorial where Australia’s Federation Guard and the Royal Military College Duntroon Band were on parade along with members of the local veterans’ community.

Today also signals the start of the final year of the Anzac Centenary.
